This Refund Policy applies to paid Commuhnity subscriptions and related fees charged by Digiclap Technologies Private Limited (“Digiclap”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). It should be read with our Terms & Conditions.

This is a starter commercial policy for launch and should be reviewed by legal/finance before wide commercial rollout.

1. Scope

Refunds, if any, apply to subscription fees paid directly to Digiclap for Commuhnity software access. This policy does not cover:

  • Society maintenance charges, utility bills, or other amounts collected by an RWA from residents
  • Third-party payment gateway fees that are non-refundable by the gateway
  • Custom professional services already delivered, unless a separate statement of work says otherwise

2. Subscription billing

Subscriptions renew according to the plan selected (for example monthly or annually) unless cancelled before the renewal date. Prices and plan inclusions are those shown at purchase or in a written order form.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel a subscription by contacting support@commuhnity.com or through any cancellation control we make available in the product. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund the current billing period unless a refund is approved under this policy.

4. Refund eligibility

  • Duplicate or erroneous charges: If you were charged twice for the same period due to our error, we will refund the duplicate amount after verification.
  • Service not provisioned: If paid access was not activated within a reasonable time solely due to Digiclap’s failure, you may request a full refund of that unused period.
  • Cooling-off for new annual plans: For a first-time annual subscription paid directly to Digiclap, you may request a refund within seven (7) days of payment if the society has not substantially used the Service (for example, no bulk billing cycles completed and no material data migration performed). Partial use may result in a partial refund at Digiclap’s discretion.
  • Monthly plans: Monthly fees are generally non-refundable once the billing period has started, except for duplicate/erroneous charges.

5. Non-refundable situations

  • Dissatisfaction after substantial use of the Service in the billing period
  • Account suspension for breach of Terms
  • Failure by the society to configure or adopt the product
  • Charges made by a society to its residents (those are between the society and the resident)

6. How to request a refund

Email support@commuhnity.com with:

  • Society name and registered admin email
  • Payment reference / invoice number
  • Date of payment and amount
  • Reason for the request

We aim to respond within seven (7) business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible and may take additional time depending on banks or payment providers.

7. Changes

Digiclap may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision. Material changes will apply prospectively to new charges.
